X-Corporation Operates

Two weeks after X-Corporation Hong Kong opens up their office, Risque happens upon some illegal trade of mutant organs. Before she can further investigate, she is killed, so Domino contacts the X-Men for help. Together, they uncover evidence of an organization called U-Men, who grafts mutant organs to their human bodies. The X-Men are able to thwart the U-Men's plans in China and also liberate a Chinese mutant called Xorn from a prison, who was targeted by the U-Men as well.

Risque (Gloria Dolores Munoz) she is Cuban, can localized gravity emission power allows her to geometrically compress and implode inorganic matter, then direct it at will with gravitized bursts. She was an occasional ally of X-Force and at one point had a fling with James Proudstar (Warpath), but she dropped out of sight once X-Force went undercover and became a Black Op team.

Havok and Annie Ghazikhanian get into an argument about whether or not she did anything with Iceman the night of Polaris' bachelorette party. But the discussion goes unanswered, as Havok, now a team leader, has X-Men responsibilities to attend to, such as tending to Jay Guthrie, who at his mothers' request is going to be attending the Academy. Jay is going to be roommates with Squidboy, and they show Jay around, eventually running into Iceman, angry that the Juggernaut is allowed to know certain X-Men secrets and is using the Danger Room, not to mention that Havok is his team leader. Havok thinks Bobby's attitude has something to do with the fact he has permanently become ice, and on the way to see Cyclops, who is now headmaster, they run into Rogue and Gambit, who also want to be taken off Havok's team, but won't say why. Upon entering Cyclops' office, they discover that everybody else has some problem with their team, or in Northstar's case no team, however Cyclops will not let anyone change teams.

Soon, Havok and all his team (Polaris, Iceman, Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit and Juggernaut) meet with Emma Frost who has an assignment for them, hoping it may help them to work as a team, and the seven journey to China, where sometime ago a disaster happened. The local monks prophesied it as an "apocalypse", but it went as far as to affect the Earth's magnetic field, causing Lorna some pain. However as they search the rubble of the village, they discover someone who looks remarkably like – Kuan-Yin Xorn!

When one of the X-Men's close allies is killed in China while working with the X-Corporation, the X-Men, minus Jean and Charles, go to pay their respects to China. Upon arriving, X-Corporations leader, the enigmatic Domino, explains that Gloria Munoz, was murdered. Domino explains that a man named John Sublime has been grafting mutant parts onto humans to create a third species and that he was responsible for Risque's death. The X-Men infiltrate and shut down the operation, but during the mission, Emma reveals her attraction to Scott and presents herself to him. The X-Men then free and recruit the captive mutant Xorn, whom Sublime planned to kill. Sublime fled to the states.

Finally free, Xorn wanted to commit suicide by collapsing the sun in his head into a black hole- an act that would have destroyed Earth but Cyclops managed to talk him out of it, make him see new possibilities and befriended him. During that adventure, Cyclops also grew closer to new teammate Emma Frost. Some time later, when the X-Men were in need of a healer, Cyclops recruited Xorn for the team.

Revenge of Cassandra Nova

In China, the X-Men, while continually bickering amongst themselves, throw around various ideas as to who this "Xorn" could be, Juggernaut informing everyone that the original Xorn had a star for a brain, and suggests that a leak in his helmet had something to do with the destruction of the surrounding area. The X-Men are about to take Xorn back to the mansion, despite several protests, claiming that they don't know what should be done, considering the circumstances, when they are stopped by Eight Chinese Immortals. The Immortals attack, one of them seriously injures Polaris, while Gambit gets trapped in another Immortal's controlled vines as his playing card blows up while he was holding onto it, and he is blinded. Havok manages to knock out any remaining Immortals and they board the plane, to get Gambit back to the Institute, when something leaks from Xorn's cracked head and begins to tear apart the X-jet. Meanwhile at the Institute, Squidboy befriends Jay Guthrie, and they almost have a run in with a mysterious person lurking around the Institute, asking students about Juggernaut.

In China, Havok manages to keep Xorn from opening another black hole by channeling his power through himself, though it is not a particularly viable solution. However, the Eight Immortals return and remind the X-Men of the helmet Xorn was kept in which prevents his powers from acting out of control. They reveal that it is being held at a nearby military base, and so while the Eight Immortals lead Wolverine, Polaris, Rogue and the blinded Gambit some of the way, the squabbling Iceman and Juggernaut remain to keep an eye on Havok and Xorn until the Collective Man shows up with some military aid, informing the heroes that they will die for setting Xian Xorn (Kuan-Yin Xorn) free.

The X-Men return to the institute with many questions. Why would the Professor leave the institute when mobs are attacking the recently ousted mutant school? Why is everyone at the institute getting the flu? Why is America suddenly fascinated with John Sublime and his third species? Who attacked the Beast? With Logan out on a mission, the Beast in a coma and the Professor in space, the X-Men confront the protesters resulting in Emma taking care of the crowd. Emma and Scott then go to confront Sublime while Jean Grey took care of Beast.

Sublime abducts Emma Frost and Scott and plans to graft them, but then discovers the school, and sends his armies out to collect the mutants. Meanwhile, Wolverine saves a young mutant named Angel from some more of Sublime's men and heads back to the mansion with his unwilling companion. With Jean left alone at the mansion, she and the students use their abilities to scare off Sublime's mutant hunters.

The U-Men attack the mansion and Jean leaves to stop them before Beast can tell her that Cassandra Nova is the real reason he and Beak were attacked. Outside of the Xavier Institute, Jean and the students prepare to defend the school and stop the U-Men in a battle for their lives.  Jean defends the school against an army of U-Men. While she repulses the invasion, Jean uses her power in uncharacteristically vicious ways and emanates an aura of flame, reminiscent of Dark Phoenix.

Just as Jean began glowing with a Phoenix effect, Sublime's men retreat and Angel and Wolverine return home. At Sublime's base, Emma and Scott escape and Emma drops Sublime out a window for breaking her nose. Wolverine confronts Jean about the Phoenix, but then Beast suddenly emerges from the mansion, revealing that Cassandra Nova is in the Professors body and Charles is in the decaying body of Cassandra Nova.

Wolverine notices the slight change in Jean, but she assures him that everything is fine. Cyclops and Emma free themselves from the U-Men’s clutches and confront John Sublime, the man behind the U-Men. Sublime seemingly commits suicide, which one of his victims may have telepathically forced him to do. Beast comes around and reveals that Professor Xavier is trapped inside the mind of Cassandra Nova.

Jean locates Professor Xavier’s psyche and discovers that Xavier tried to kill his twin sister while they were both in the womb.

Lilandra travels to Earth to warn the X-Men of Xavier's possession by Cassandra Nova. Enroute, they are attacked by Cassandra who telepathically takes down the crew, one by one. As the ship's pilot falls, wrecking the ship, Lilandra send the Imperial Guardsman Smasher to warn Earth. In Earth orbit Cyclops and Xorn are being held captive by a mind controlled Lilandra and her Imperial Guard. Despite Cyclops' warnings, Lilandra and her forces are convinced that Cyclops and Earth's mutants are suffering from a psi-plague. Lilandra orders her Imperial Superguardians, who have already landed at the Xavier Institute, to carry out their sterilization orders. With vacant eyes that once sparkled with life, Empress Lilandra watches as her Imperial fleet, under her orders, lays waste to the Shi’ar Empire. Controlled by Cassandra Nova, who is still in Xavier's body, Lilandra decides that rather than heed her adviser's words, she will order him killed. Before the order can be carried out, Cyclops and Xorn, recently freed from their shackles, arrive and easily dispatch the Imperial Guardsmen.

stepfordcuckoos.jpg

Meanwhile at the Xavier Institute, Cassandra Nova finishes off Gladiator, the last Superguardian standing, and proceeds to the mansion itself. Nearby, Emma Frost and her Stepford Cuckoo girls proceed with their plan regarding their captive Stuff and a tissue sample for him to emulate. In the bowels of the Institute, Cyclops and Xorn arrive to find the Beast and Phoenix, who contains Xavier's mind, preparing for the final attack of Cassandra. After being informed of their medical situation, Xorn uses his powers to kill the nano-Sentinels inside the X-Men's bloodstreams. Now with a clear mind and sensing Cassandra's plan, Phoenix/Xavier puts on the Cerebra helmet and disperses Xavier's mind to the countless mutant minds across the planet. Phoenix has no time to revel in her accomplishment as Cassandra, still clad in Xavier's body arrives. Cassandra dispatches Phoenix and dons the Cerebra helmet. Cassandra's plan backfires after the mutant minds of the world reflect back the mind of Charles Xavier, expelling Cassandra from Xavier's body. Now without a body, Cassandra's psychic essence begins to fade. Emma Frost arrives with Cassandra's old body, offering it in exchange for her and her wards personal safety. Cassandra accepts and inhabits the body, only to discover that the body is not hers, but the transformed body of the Superguardian Stuff. Now trapped in this body, Cassandra is forced to learn about the world by Stuff's synthetic brain, which has been programmed to teach. Back in the real world the X-Men take stock of their situation and are shocked to learn that the professor no longer has need of his wheelchair.

xforce01.jpg
The X-Force before faking their deaths.

Jean Grey now discovered that Emma Frost is flirting with his husband. She confronted her telepathically and insulted Emma Frost of doing it to Scott. And Scott could not deny about the hidden affair anymore, he took a leave for a short while.

Shortly after, X-Force faked their own deaths; another mutant group appeared in the media, calling themselves X-Force. Domino, Cannonball, Proudstar and Meltdown returned and opposed the new X-Force for misusing their name but, apparently, in the meantime, the newcomers had bought the legal rights to the name

Meanwhile also in the school, when the mysterious Cassandra Nova abducts biologist Dr. Trask, she shows him a new fleet of "wild sentinels". Using his voice to activate them, Nova attempts to eliminate all mutants. Xavier realizes something huge is about to go down, and sends Wolverine and Cyclops enroute from another mission to look in right before Nova realizes he is on her trail. Nova then psi attacks Xavier, knocking him out cold. Nova's sentinels capture the X-Men and their passenger, Ugly John. Nova then kills Trask and Ugly John before Cyclops and Wolverine can escape. Nova then voice activates the sentinels to destroy Genosha.

The villain unleashed the mutant hunting robots-the Sentinels and attacking the Island of Genosha. The attacked demolished and killed 16 million mutants. Xavier witnesses the mutant black out through Cerebra and Cyclops and Wolverine return to the mansion with Nova after the severe her vocal cords. Beast and Jean go to Genosha to look for survivors and find Emma Frost who has obtained a new ability to turn into diamond. Emma then returns to the mansion for testing. Emma leaves mad at the world and ready to kill. Nova then awakens from her state and defeats Beast, Jean, Cyclops and Wolverine easily. She then attacks the Professor and attempts to take his mind using Cerebra when suddenly Emma Frost returns for her purse and snaps Nova's neck. The Professor then shoots Nova with a gun and apparently kills her.

The Professor and the X-Men recover, Jean confronts Cyclops about their deteriorating relationship, and then the Professor makes a public announcement to the world that he is a mutant. The school returns to normal with students enrolled. Beast works with Beak in order to help his confidence, with low results. The Beast then gets a confidence drop when Trish Tilby, long time girl friend, dumps him. Jean speaks to Logan about her marriage, which results in the two sharing a kiss. The Professor then announces he is taking a vacation to the Shi’Ar when the Beast discovers that he has the same DNA as Nova. It's discovered that Nova switched bodies with the Professor right before her neck was snapped; Nova attacks Beast and forces Beak to beat Beast with a bat. Nova then leaves for the Shi’Ar Empire leaving the Beast and Beak catatonic.

Cassandra Nova, she was a psionic entity and was twin sister of Charles Xavier, which was killed while they were in the womb.

The X-Men came over the Genosha and searching for survivors. They did not find Magneto and however, they have seen Polaris and bring her back to the mansion for medication. In the mansion, Professor Xavier decided to leave the school and create a new school in Genosha. He appointed Cyclops as the new headmaster. He also divided the group. He and Xavier give responsibility to Havok to lead the new group and with Polaris, Jubilee, Husk, Archangel, Juggernaut, Northstar, Cannonball, Husk, Nightcrawler and Iceman. While Beast, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Emma Frost and Wolverine stayed for the new students for the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. And Banshee and Forge remains as supporting character that stayed in Muir Island. Still, Sean is under treatment after being powerless and speechless after the incident in Paris.

Jean and Emma enter the dying Professor X mind to find out the truth behind Nova. Emma is sidetracked and Jean discovers that Cassandra is Charles twin. While in the womb, Cassandra attacked Charles and Charles then killed Cassandra, or her body at least, Cassandra survived as pure emotional energy. The X-Men were forced to wait for Cassandra's next attack from the Shi’Ar Empire and they figure out that she was behind Sublime's popularity. Deciding to not shut things down, Jean studies the Professor's notes and decides to hold a press conference to stop the protesting outside the school.

Cyclops returns to China to enlist the aid of Xorn. Meanwhile, Lilandra and her empire begin falling, but not before one imperial guard agent, Smasher, can escape to warn the X-Men. Nova then invades Lilandra's mind and sends the Imperial Guard to kill all mutants. The Shi’Ar first abduct Cyclops and Xorn before starting for the mansion. At the institute, the students stir up trouble as Angel (Angel Salvatore) and Emma clash with their attitudes and the Cuckoo's argue over Esme, one of them, having a strange new boyfriend.

Xian Xorn became a valued member of the team, even going so far as to apparently heal Professor X's severed spinal cord. Soon he was put in charge of the "Special Class", a group of physical and social misfits who attended the Xavier Institute, who he soon commanded as his own unofficial team of X-Men.

Jean host a press conference at the institute where the human's appear to be civil despite an outburst from Emma due to a rude comment from one reporter. The Beast then discovers that the flu epidemic is actually being caused by small Nano-sentinels unleashed by Nova, but his discovery comes right as Esme's boyfriend is revealed as a Shi’Ar spy. The Imperial Guard arrives to attack the Institute with one goal in mind, kill all mutants.

Emma is neutralized by the spy named Stuff with a psi helmet, most the students are defeated easily, and Jean, Beast and Wolverine rush the reporters from the press conference into the danger room. The X-Men seal themselves inside the mansion and battle the Imperial Guard, but when Smasher arrives to reveal the truth about Nova, the guard surrenders.

In space, Scott and Xorn free themselves from their captors and confront Nova who escapes to earth, but not before she can mind wipe Lilandra and blow up the vessel Cyclops and Xorn are on. The remaining students, Angel and the Cuckoos, break into the mansion and steal a vial of Professor X's DNA and free the Beak from his catatonic state as well. They then release Emma. Trish Tilby is with the captive reporters and confronts the Beast, begging for forgiveness, but Beast just blows her off. The Imperial Guard vow to kill Nova but then Cassandra returns to the institute and takes control of them. Jean meanwhile absorbs the entire Professor' memories into herself in hopes of saving the Professor. After Cassandra returns to the mansion, the X-Men battle her, while the Cuckoos, Angel, Beak and Emma devise a plan to stop Cassandra. Jean puts the Professors psyche into Cerebro. When Nova beats the X-Men she goes to Cerebro to take over mutanity, but Xavier strikes back from within all the minds on the planet and Nova is taken by up rise. The professor then steals back his body, which is fully healed by Xorn, including the use of his legs, leaving Nova with no host. Emma then forces the shape shifting Stuff to be a body for Cassandra, but Nova's mind is destroyed when Stuff digests her.

Angel (Angel Salvatore) an insect mutation gives her the ability to spew acidic goof from her throat cavity and membrane wings that allow her to fly or can generate ultrasonic harmonics by vibrating her wings at high speeds Growing up in a trailer trash environment, Angel has never had a life of charm. Being criticized and insulted all her life, she's developed a tough girl personality. When her father realized she was a mutant, he kicked her out of her house. She awoke the next morning in a cocoon, and she had sprouted large fly like wings and had the ability to spit corrosive acid out of her mouth. She was saved by Wolverine from the Designer Gene battle units and brought back to the institute where she is enrolled as an unwilling student.

Beak (Barnell Bohusk) has never been the most popular kid, but when his mutation caused his outward physical appearance ot become bird like with a beak and chicken like wings, things went even further down hill. Choosing the code name Beak, the Xavier Institute took him in to help him develop his powers. The Beast was his role model, but when the evil Cassandra Nova took over his mind, he was forced to beat the Beast with a bat. Barnell's dream to be one of the X-Men was put on hold when he was put into a catatonic state by Cassandra Nova, but when he was rescued by Angel he pursued his dream with more enthusiasm.

The Stepford Cuckoos sisters (Celeste, Mindee, Phoebe, Sophie and Esme) - Brought to the institute when their powers got to be too much trouble, The Stepford quintuplets are a mess of genetic power. Their minds allow them to act as one and the totality of their powers includes telepathy and maybe telekinesis. When arriving at the school they immediately took appreciation towards Emma Frost, a rich upper class telepath like themselves. The "Little Emma’s" as they are called aren't so powerful when apart, but when together nothing stands in their way!

Ugly John (Steve) With his only power to being having two extra faces, it seemed the odds were against Ugly John from the start. When the X-Men rescued him from South America, they planned on taking him back to the Xavier Institute, but were sidetracked by Cassandra Nova on the way. Not feeling any pity for the ugly mutant, Cassandra killed him in cold blood. Ugly John's memory will live on in us all.

After the Cassandra aftermath passes, Jean and the Professor embark on a journey to Paris.

The New X-Corporations

In the pursuant oh his dream and after learning that the group reorganized by Sean was a failure, Professor Charles Xavier reestablished X-Corporation. The X-Corps are a paramilitary group founded by Banshee with the purpose to police mutantkind and protect it from any threat, whether they originate from humanity or other mutants. The X-Corps should not be confused with the similarly named X-Corporation, or X-Corp for short, which is an extension of the X-Men with several offices all over the world.

The first X-Corporation Hong Kong. The office is composed of Domino and Risque. But after Risque’s death, Domino joins Cable in another X-Force mission.

Risque (Gloria Dolores Munoz) a Cuban Seminole, localized gravity emission power allows her to geometrically compress and implode inorganic matter, then direct it at will with gravitized bursts

Then in X-Corporation Los Angeles were Empath, Magma, Skids, Skitz and Stringfellow and Sunspot. In exchange for the soul of his deceased girlfriend, Julianna, getting a new lease at life, Sunspot had to join Selene's Hellfire Club IV as Black Rook, loyal to her. Whatever became of this incarnation of the Hellfire Club or Julianna is unknown, though it seems that Sunspot is no longer bound to his promise.

xcorp-la.jpg
X-Corporation Los Angeles

These were the remarkable events before they rejoined the X-Corporations:

Empath was in a happy relationship with Magma, both of them living in Nova Roma, until he discovered that all citizens had been brainwashed by Selene and were actually from the outside world. For a time, he tried his best to keep everything as it was, but eventually the "truth" came out and, hurt by his betrayal, Magma left him to search for her real family. Magma's search was unsuccessful, though, and, in need of money, she briefly joined up with the Hellions II, before realizing that she was not cut out to be a villain.

After dropping out of sight for a while, she wound up at the front lawn of the Xavier Institute, crucified by the church of humanity. Fortunately, her life could be saved, though she remained in a come for several weeks. When a rather new student, Elixir, used his healing touch on her, she not only woke up but also found out that her Nova Roma origin was indeed to valid one, and the "brainwashed kidnapping victim" the lie.

After her boyfriend, Rusty Collins, was killed, Skids withdrew from the constant battles between rivaling fractions of mutants and tried to live a normal life instead, getting a college education in Denver.

Skitz can create a temporary psychosis where her victim is lost among the presence of multiple parallel aspects of themselves drawn from their own mind

Stringfellow can mentally cause organic beings to lose all rigidity in their physical structure, making them collapse like loose, pliant bands of flesh

When a mutant runs amok in the streets, X-Corporation L.A. leader Sunspot uses his business contacts to convince the mayor to let Bishop of the X-Men handle the situation. He also orders Empath to influence the crowd, making them remember that it was a mutant who saved them, but to forget that the crisis was caused by one in the first place.

xcorp-mumbai.jpg

Then in X-Corporation Mumbai were Feral, Proudstar, Sunfire and Thornn. While Wolverine and the Afghani mutant Dust he rescued are resting inside the office.

Thornn (Lucia Callasantos) a sister of Feral, animal mutation gives her heightened strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes, hyper-keen feline senses, thick brown striped fur, a prehensile tail and razor sharp fangs and claws on her fingers and toes

xcorp-paris.jpg
X-Corporation Paris

The latest X-Corporation Paris was organized is in Paris, this were composed of Cannonball, Darkstar, Holly, Monet, Multiple Man, Rictor, Sabra and Siryn.

Darkstar (Laynia Petrovna) a Russian, Dark-Soul allows her to tap into an extra-dimensional source of Darkforce energy, which she can direct as concussive blasts, protective force fields, solid energy constructs, inter-dimensional flux that can propel her through the air, and can transport matter from place to place by creating portals through the Darkforce Dimension Holly

Sabra (Ruth bat-Seraph) an Israeli, empowered by a form of physical enhancement energy which amplifies her strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, leaping ability, durability, and recuperative powers, and can be transferred at will to endow others with superhuman physical power for as long as she chooses; uses an anti-gravity cloak that enables her to fly and wrist-shooters which fire bursts of low-density plasma or paralyzing razor spikes.

Jean Grey meets with Xavier and asks for his help in understanding her new psychic abilities and their significance. After a few tests, each revealing new levels of telekinetic sensitivity, Xavier finds that he is able to speak directly with the Phoenix Entity through Jean.

With Jean away, traveling around the world and visiting the diverse X-Corporation headquarters, Emma Frost agreed to a therapy with Cyclops, which grew into an odd kind of psychic affair. Returned from her world tour, Jean caught the two of them during one of their sessions and things turned ugly, as she confronted Emma telepathically.

emmagrey76.jpg

Furious, Jean used the Phoenix power to rifle through Emma’s memories trying to find out what happened between her and Scott in Hong Kong and made her face up to her self-deceptions. The experience left Emma deeply humiliated and emotionally shattered. In the wake of her volatile confrontation with Jean, Emma confessed to Wolverine that she has fallen in love with Scott Summers. Apparently, she hadn’t felt such genuine feelings towards a man for quite some time. Scott finally interrupted this catfight by showing Jean that nothing physical had happened between he and Emma and then left the mansion, deciding to quit the X-Men.

When the Beast stopped by Emma’s room later that evening to try and lift her spirits, he discovered her diamond form on her bedroom floor…shattered into a thousand pieces by a diamond bullet! It was obvious that someone killed Emma Frost, and Xavier asked Bishop and Sage to investigate Emma’s murder.

emmashattered6.jpg

Independently, Jean Grey did some telepathic investigating of her own and realized that one or more of the Stepford Cuckoos were involved. Sensing that Emma’s consciousness still lingered around her shattered body, Jean used the Phoenix Force to fuse the pieces of Emma’s diamond form back together. As Emma’s mind rejoined her body, she called out the name of the true culprit - Esme. However, the truth was revealed a bit too late. When Sage and Bishop confronted Esme about the crime, the skilled Stepford Cuckoo used her mental powers to subdue the pair of mutant detectives, and she left the Xavier Institute with some help from an unseen ally.

Jean decides to use the new Mark 3 X-Plane to fly into orbit to rescue Wolverine, while Beast and Emma Frost fly to the Pacific for Cyclops and Fantomex.
