The Beyonder’s Plan
In Salem, Kitty Pryde explains
to Doug Ramsey (Cypher) how things have changed between her and Ororo: she feels rejected and hurt that her friend changed
so much. At Xavier, Colossus and Wolverine are conversing, Peter explains that he is unsure of his feelings toward Kitty and
resents the presence of Doug Ramsey, seeing him as a better match to Kitty than he ever will be. Kitty prepares herself to
go along Doug Ramsey to Massachusetts Academy, Xavier explains he worries about this trip since Doug is a mutant with linguistic
talent, but Kitty says that Emma Frost is in a coma, and Sebastian Shaw would not want to fight the X-Men alone, so as long
as they maintain mental contact everything should be fine.
Also, Kitty had developed
a tight friendship with Peter Rasputin’s little sister, Illyana, a bond that grew stronger when Illyana, after being
abducted to an other-dimensional Limbo, where time passed differently, returned the same
age as Kitty. Kitty and Illyana became the best of friends. Strangely, though, there seemed to be an ill-defined link between
them, making Kitty susceptible to Illyana’s magic and leaving her as the heir to that magic, whenever Illyana was incapacitated
or renounced it. One aspect of that link was that Kitty could hold Illyana’s Soulsword
– the expression of her magical might – something nobody else could do and that the weapon could hurt her, even
though it was only supposed to harm magical beings and spells.
Shortly afterwards, Kitty
Pryde’s friend, Doug Ramsey, received an invitation to the Massachusetts Academy and wanted to accept. Since they could
not reveal the Academy’s dark secrets to the boy, Kitty at least wanted to accompany him for a visit and, given the
condition the White Queen was last seen in, the X-Men believed them safe. Additionally, Xavier stayed in mental contact with
Kitty, only the X-Men were whisked away by the Beyonder for the Secret Wars. When Emma Frost was revealed to have made a full
recovery, Kitty was easily defeated, especially since the villain could threaten to harm Doug Ramsey. Learning of her friend’s
fate, Illyana Rasputin alerted her fellow New Mutants and, since none of the big hero teams were still on Earth, they themselves
traveled to the Massachusetts Academy for a rescue mission. Still, most of the New Mutants were caught, as they were surprised
by the White Queen and her Hellions. While Emma Frost went to visit Shaw to inform him about their potential new recruits,
the Hellions and the Mutants settled for a duel between Jetstream and Cannonball. Even though Sam won, Frost and Shaw didn't want to let the mutants go. Fortunately, Kitty was
able to cause a confusion that allowed Magik to teleport them all to safety.
Emma continued to isolate
Firestar from the other students and trained her secretly and alone. However, she introduced her to the other Hellions and
used a possible future membership as incentive for Angelica to make fast progress. Also, she gave her a special bracelet,
which caused the girl nightmares that increased her own doubts and made her easier to control. When Selene joined the Inner
Circle of the Hellfire Club as the new Black Queen, Frost and Shaw regarded her as too powerful and a potential threat to
their own positions. Therefore, they planned to make Angelica kill Selene. Yet, shortly before she performed the murder, Firestar
saw through the deception and left the Massachusetts Academy. Threatening to reveal the academy's secrets, she made Emma Frost
promise to never interfere with her again.
Later, Ororo and her have
a stormy and teary explanation about why Storm has changed like she did. Kitty boards the plane with Doug Ramsey, and in midair
Emma Frost welcomes them – she is no longer in a coma. Kitty’s mental cries for help go unanswered, as Xavier
and the X-Men have been whisked away by the Beyonder.
Xavier tries to help Storm
who has been feeling out of sync with Mother Earth ever since the Brood saga, her changes in appearance reflect the changes
of personality she is going through, and they all need time to adjust. She later helps an elderly couple against some burglars,
but they fear her even more when she uses her powers. She temporarily leaves X-Men and went back to Africa.
Magneto was next called upon
to aid the X-Men in battling the nearly omnipotent yet frustratingly short-sighted being, the Beyonder. His association with
the heroic team softened his views on humanity and Magneto surrendered himself to the law in order to stand trial for his
past crimes. A special tribunal was organized and Magneto intended to abide by whatever verdict was brought. The trial started
well for Magneto, as the tribunal chose to strike all charges against him from prior to his "rebirth", deeming that this had
constituted a figurative death of the old Magneto.
Elsewhere, Nightcrawler has
a date with his ladylove Amanda Sefton. And Cyclops heads to Florida for some downtime
to meet his sometime lover, Lee Forrester, before joining his father and his brother to meet his grandparents in Alaska. It
had been months since they had last seen each other and Scott filled her in on recent events. Lee wondered if he would come
back and, if so, fully or only for a visit. Scott was not sure but Lee said that she could not handle his superhero life and
that, sooner or later, he would have to choose between her and the X-Men. When they arrived in Anchorage, the grandparents
had sent a pilot to pick them up – Madelyne Pryor, who happened to look exactly like Jean Grey- Scott’s dead lover.
While the relationship between
Cypher and Kitty goes very well, this caused jealousy in Colossus, who wasn’t sure where he stood with Kitty, as Doug
seemed a better match for her. When the X-Men - with the exception of Kitty – were abducted by the Beyonder alongside
other superheroes, Colossus fell in love with an alien healer named Zsaji, who gave her
life for him. He couldn’t forget her and broke off with Kitty, when he returned.
The Wolverine’s Wedding
The X-Men have been invited
to Mariko Yashida’s home in preparation for her wedding to Wolverine. He happily welcomes
his teammates but is shocked and angered to learn that Rogue is now an X-Man. They are being spied upon by the Silver Samurai who, in turn, is attacked by Yukio, a newly found friend of
Wolverine’s. Hearing the commotion, the X-Men hurry to help. The Samurai escapes and the X-Men discuss what the reason
for this attack was – probably Clan Yashida’s ties to the underworld, which Mariko’s late father, Shingen
Yashida, forged, Wolverine assumes.
The X-Men are unaware that
the Samurai’s partner, Viper, who manages to poison all the X-Men, save for Storm,
has infiltrated the household. Mariko, in the meantime, has received a message from the Samurai and secretly leaves to meet
him, unaware that her chauffeur is Yukio. The two women trade places and Yukio goes to meet the Samurai (Mariko’s half-brother,
who demands leadership of the clan), Viper and Nabatone, a Japanese crime lord. Yukio’s
cover is quickly blown and a fight breaks out. As Viper runs to the limousine to kill Mariko, she is expected by Storm, whom
Yukio called. Storm tries to stop the Samurai but finds her powers going out of control, almost killing her until Yukio propels
them both into the water. The two injured women flee, while the Samurai threatens them. Back at the hospital, Wolverine plans
to take out the Silver Samurai and Rogue, who was less affected, thanks to her half-alien metabolism, and insists on accompanying
him.
Meanwhile, in Alaska, Cyclops
rifles through Madelyne Pryor’s files, trying to find out what her connection to Phoenix
is. His brother, Alex, asks him to stop doing this to himself - all those similarities are just coincidence, but still Scott
doubts.
Wolverine and Rogue mix it
up with the Yakuza in Tokyo’s Ginza district, until they get the information that leads them to the crime lord Nabatone,
who in turn is supposed to lead them to Viper and the Silver Samurai. They infiltrate Nabatone’s estate - with Rogue
being horribly cocky and find Nabatone dead. He has been for over a week. The man who arranged the meeting between Mariko
and the Silver Samurai was an impostor and, while they’ve been wasting time here, their foes might be attacking the
hospital where Mariko and the poisoned X-Men are.
The fears are correct: Viper
and a team of ninja assassins are attacking the hospital and dispatching of the agents posted there. Rogue
flies in, grabs Viper and the Ninja and tosses them out of the building. Wolverine, in the meantime, challenges the Samurai
and wins their brutal battle. As he intends to kill him, Mariko asks him to spare her half-brother. They are joined by an
armed Viper, who demands they let the Samurai go. The Silver Samurai faints, Wolverine
and Mariko make a run for it and, before the gun’s energy ray can hit them, Rogue throws herself into the ray’s
path, suffering severe injuries. After the gun overloads, Viper teleports herself and the Samurai away. Wolverine lets Rogue
absorb his powers to save her life. In the meantime, Yukio and Storm battled some muggers and Storm, inspired by Yukio, starts
to revel in her emotions, even her darker ones, instead of suppressing them. One week later, at the Yashida’s ancestral
seat, Mariko is preparing for the wedding, is visited by Mastermind, who influences her in
some way. At the wedding reception, the X-Men meet Cyclops’ girlfriend, Madelyne Pryor, for the first time and are shocked
by her similarity to Jean Grey. Also, Storm returns, changed in a startling manner. She has gone punk much to Kitty’s
horror. As the wedding ceremony is to start, Mariko breaks it off in front of everybody, insulting Wolverine as unworthy.
Later, the X-Men find that
she is under the control of Wyngarde. They stop the madness of the possessed Mariko but no wedding was done for that they.

Pryde’s Pride
Kitty has been kidnapped by
the Morlocks and drugged so that she is still and can marry Caliban without making a fuss. Kitty readies herself to marry
the man of her dreams, but seeing Caliban shocks her into realizing where she is really. She tries to run away, but comes
back anyway to keep her promise, pleading Callisto to save the life of Colossus. In return, she will marry Caliban.
Meanwhile Storm, Rogue and
Wolverine have discovered that it’s not really Kitty lying dead in a morgue drawer, thanks to Wolverine heightened senses.
They interrupt the wedding but Kitty manages to convince the X-Men that she is marrying Caliban so that the Morlock healer
will save Colossus life. They return to the school with the Morlock healer, Rogue absorbs the shattered metallic form, and
the Healer treat’s Piotr’s injuries. Afterwards Kitty returns to the Alley to be welcomed by Caliban who, aware
that she is in agony at the idea of spending her life in dark catacombs, frees her of her promise.
Later, Kitty leave the X-Men
for space and he went to somewhere without telling anybody. Later, by accident she was then found by Wolverine in Japan.
Kitty temporarily leaves the
X-men, heartbroken and she went to Japan with her mother Carmen Pryde who had shady dealings with the Yakuzas.
In Japan, kitty was brainwashed
with the Yakuza Ninjas. There she was saved by Wolverine, who happened to be traveling from Canada finding the pieces of his
past and searching clues on his identity.
Wolverine helps her from the
Ninjas and where they end up battling with Wolverine's mentor Ogun.
The X-Men Colossus, Nightcrawler
and Rogue are having a training session, but are forced to fight the Magus, father of Warlock, bent on his son's annihilation. Professor Xavier, Rachel Summers, Storm and Illyana Rasputin
welcome Wolverine and Kitty Pryde who just returned from Japan when Kitty recognizes Rachel from her Days of Future Past adventure.
Back from Japan, a surprise
awaited her; a new team member – Rachel Summers, a teenager from the alternate timeline
the future Kate Pryde had come from. In fact, Kitty still remembered Rachel from the time she had switched bodies with Kate
and, among all the X-Men, was the first to bond with and befriend the emotionally fragile girl. During that time, she also
managed to patch things up with Colossus, leaving them first as uneasy and eventually as close friends.
When they returned to the
X-Men, Sprite had matured in demeanor and changed her code name to Shadowcat during a
training session in the Danger Room with Angel.
Indecent Comparison
In the meantime, in Alaska,
Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor are getting very close on a date; so close, in fact, that
Scott comes clear, both about having been in love with a woman who’s a look-alike to Madelyne and about being a mutant.
After an initial shock, Madelyne copes quite well and is clearly as besotted with Scott as he is with her.
Cyclops shows Madelyne the
view from the Starjammers and, despite his doubts about her proposes. Later, though, a snapshot of Jean Grey – played
into his hands by Mastermind – reawakens his doubts, causing him to ask Madelyne whether she is Phoenix reborn. Angrily,
she hits him hard enough to know his glasses off. To his shock, after he finds his glasses again Cyclops is faced by Dark
Phoenix, who blasts him.
Cyclops and Madelyne depart
to their honeymoon in the Pacific, but also Scott decides whether he will join the Starjammers or stay on Earth. Lightning
damages their plane, and while they make repairs a big shark and a squid attack them. In the end they manage to survive and
get the plane working again. Scott decides that he has had enough adventures and wants to live with Madelyne.
After their marriage, Cyclops
decided to stay remain with the X-Men.
Freedom Force and Fenris
In Washington, Mystique offers
Val Cooper the services of her Brotherhood as an official team that could put an hold
on mutant activities; Val sets the deal by asking Mystique to capture Magneto. Later when
Magneto and Shadowcat are attending the Remembrance Day at the National Holocaust Memorial, Mystique and her Brotherhood (new
called Freedom Force) assault Magneto. After a battle between Freedom Force and the X-Men,
Magneto realizes his crimes against mankind need to be punished and turns himself in, despite the X-Men's disapproval.
Magneto has been transferred
to Paris where his trial is taking place if front of the International Court of Justice, triggering uproar across the world
from both pro-mutant and anti-mutant protesters.
The X-Men and the New Mutants
return from Asgard where they fought Loki, he is the Avengers' Thor
half-brother. With the New Mutants safe on Muir Island, a dying Xavier begs Cyclops to find those who have been orchestrating
terrorist attacks across Europe on behalf of the X-Men and of Magneto: Magneto's cause is the cause of all mutants. While
the anti-mutant hysteria spreads on, Magneto's trial is going on with an hysterical Jaspers trying to prove the court that
Magneto is the lowest kind of scum who ever lived on earth.
Eventually, the X-Men discover
the guilty parts behind those terrorist attacks: Wolfgang Von Strucker's children, a.k.a.
Fenris, out to settle an old score that their father has with Magneto and Xavier. Magneto
realizes that there is always a time when past errors of judgment come back to bite you in the behind. After Fenris is neutralized,
Xavier, dying from a heart attack, manages to have Magneto as his successor as head of Xavier School before being taken away
by Corsair and Lilandra, who sensed her lover’s bad health through their mind link.
Back in New York, Madelyne
Pryor is about to give birth.
Back from France, the X-Men
learn that Madelyne has given birth to a son named Nathan Christopher Charles Summers (Cable) as in present time. Madelyne confides in Storm her fears that Cyclops doesn't really care
about her and the baby and that she needs some proof that Scott really wants the two of them in his life.
Later while the X-Men and
New Mutants have fun playing baseball and enjoying each other’s company, Scott and Madelyne angrily discuss the meaning
of their marriage and why Cyclops won't just leave the X-Men. Storm offers Scott a duel in the Danger Room to decide who will
lead the X-Men from now on. Cyclops accepts the offer, upsetting Madelyne even more and is defeated in combat by Ororo despite
her being powerless.
Meanwhile, Rachel repairs
the halo-empathic crystal of Jean Grey she accidentally destroyed. A beam of energy projects from the spot on the moon where
Phoenix died down towards earth. Light-years away, aboard the vessel of the Starjammers, the recovered Professor Xavier learns
that he won't be able to return to earth before very long and is unsure whether handing the X-Men and New Mutants to Magneto
was the right decision.

New Headmaster
The X-Men's greatest opponent,
Magneto, has reevaluated his life and beliefs acting as the X-Men's ally. When Xavier was
on the brink of death due to severe injuries from Fenris, he persuaded Magneto to take his
place as head of his school in his absence.
Cyclops leaves his wife Madelyne
and returns to the X-Men to check on Xavier, as Moira MacTaggert alerted him that Magneto has been allowed into the X-Men.
Cyclops returned from Alaska
to the X-Men on Moira MacTaggert's request, there he learns Professor X is dying. Rachel reminisces childhood memories and
ponders on how Jean Grey saved the universe in two timelines before her death, either by suicide of being killed by federals.
She claims the power of Phoenix as her own.
Not to long later, the X-Men's
greatest adversary, Magneto abandoned his terrorist ways and became the X-Men's ally. And Mystiques took the lead in the Brotherhood
of Evil Mutants.
Shortly after Professor Xavier
was mortally wound and was transported to deep space by Lilandra to be healed, but before his departure he had Magneto vow
to take over the school. Magneto became the Headmaster to the young group of New Mutant's, who by this point had new member's,
joining the team were the Phalanx named Warlock, Rictor, and
later after Longhsot came back in Mojoworld he brought
Shatterstar.
Warlock, an alien race Phalanx,
enhanced strength and resistance to damage, biomechanical physical structure can be restructured into analytical sensors,
energy projectors, and any technological or organic form, decipher languages, merge and uplink with binary systems, flight
Rictor (Julio Estiban Richter)

Shatterstar (Benjamin

Aboard the Starjammer’s
Lilandra and Xavier are saying each other goodbye before Lilandra returns to the Shi’Ar galaxy, and Corsair shares a
last moment with his sons Cyclops and Havok.
Xavier was teleported off
Earth to the Shi’Ar Galaxy by his lover, the Shi’Ar Princess Lilandra Neramani,
and his ally Corsair of Starjammers, who was happened the long lost father of Cyclops. Xavier has by now fully recovered,
thanks to Shi’Ar medical science, but he has so far been unable to return to Earth. Magneto, under the alias of Michael
Xavier, Charles Xavier's alleged cousin, now runs the school and instructs the New Mutants. Magneto is also now a member of
the X-Men, although Storm is now the team's actual leader.
Magneto agreed and chose not
to return to the courtroom. Instead he took over Xavier's school under the assumed identity of Michael Xavier, Charles Xavier's
cousin, and was a fugitive from justice. Seeing him try to reform, the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver later tried accepting
him as their father.
The New
Mutants were Moonstar (Mirage), Karma, Wolfsbane, Legion, Cannonball, Cypher, Magik, Magma, Warlock,
Rictor, Feral and Proudstar. And later, they will be added with Meltdown and Shatterstar.
Prologue to Cable
Not
known to everybody that Master Geneticist Mister Sinister knew that he would not stand a chance in a direct battle between
he and his archenemy, Apocalypse, which is why he decided to let someone else do the work
for him. For years, Sinister mapped the mutant genome and compared DNA samples of all known mutants, until he found those
of Scott Summers and Jean Grey. Their union, Sinister judged, was to be the perfect match for creating the ultimate weapon
– a mutant powerful enough to defeat Apocalypse. The fact that Jean Grey was, at the time, believed dead was only a
minor problem. Sinister created a clone of her, naming her Madelyne Pryor. He swiftly created
a false background and arranged for her and Scott Summers to meet and, like expected, Scott was instinctively drawn to a woman
that so resembled his one true love.
Not
before long, they married and Madelyne became pregnant. While the X-Men were away on a mission, Madelyne gave birth to Nathan Christopher at Xavier’s mansion outside of Salem Center in Westchester County, New
York. Without Cyclops to protect them, Mister Sinister could make his move. He wanted the baby for himself and, knowing that
an eventual meeting of Jean and Madelyne would expose the latter as a clone, he sent the Marauders
to kill her. Although Madelyne barely survived the assassination, Sinister erased all records of her and the child’s
existence and took his prize to the labs of the sub-basement under his Nebraska orphanage, alongside other mutant babies.
Later, his son was kidnapped by Apocalypse and planted a virus, and Cyclops leaves no choice but to save his son by submitting
to the Mother Askani’s world.
Introduction - Acadian War
In
that future time, the leader of the Mother Askani was also Rachel
Summers. Who is also Nathan’s sister in the alternate-future.
After
his incubation for many years to become virus-free, a full-grown Nathan helped to rescue the Mother Askani from the squad
of Stryfe during the attack. By that time, he was called as Nathan
Dayspring.
Not
knowing also that Apocalypse in their timeline had a created also his own clone and the name is Nate
Summers (X-Man).

At some point during the war with the New Canaanites, Nathan and Aliya assumed
the combat aliases of Cable and Jenskot, the later paying
homage to the legendary "First Ones." The rebellion continued apace, with the Clan Chosen recruiting new allies such as Dawnsilk, the Adam Unit 11, Aliya’s sister Hope, and Jenskot's own son, Tyler Dayspring, after he came of age. Contradictory reports make it difficult to determine whether or not Tyler
was truly Nathan's son or when exactly he was born. Whatever the case, an ambush by Stryfe's forces left Jenskot dead and
Tyler in the chaos-bringer's clutches. Tyler was brainwashed into betraying the Clan and serving as one of Stryfe's warriors.
As the New Canaanites consolidated their control over the global arena, Stryfe traveled back in time to seek his destiny in
the past and to destroy those he thought had failed him.
Arrival of Cable
Meanwhile, Cable had traveled
back in time (the present time) as well, in order to control the High Lord Ascension and
the rise of the fabled plot- The Twelve.
Nathan arrived in the past
in Scotland, over a decade before he would actually be born and was rescued from Reverend Craig by Moira MacTaggert. He learned
modern-day English again by scanning her thoughts and, after explaining that he was a time-traveler, she told him how to get
in contact with Charles Xavier.
Cable (Nathan Christopher Charles
Summers) possesses immense telepathic, psychokinetic, and latent time-twisting powers, endowed with techno-organic cybernetics
that give him a bionic eye that can scan different visual wavelengths and a bionic arm that augments his strength.
Nathan adopted the alias Cable,
as a metaphor for being a link between the present and the future, and traveled to the US, gathering information on Xavier
before actually contacting him. Around the same time, he had his first run-in with Wolverine, who was still working for Canada’s
Department H. Finally contacting Xavier, he helped him design the security systems for the mansion and, in turn, was taught
by the Professor how to get along in the 20th century.
He once saved Rogue from the
mob, before she finds refuge with the X-Men. Also, Cable becomes a short X-Men member and left.
In the following years, Cable
founded a crack team of mercenaries known as the Wild Pack: G.W. Bridge, Domino, Grizzly, Kane, and Hammer. Cable worked alongside the Wild Pack for years, making occasional trips back to the future and at one
point returning with his Graymalkin space station, where the intelligent system program Professor and the Time Displacement
Core, which governed his time-trips, were located. At one point, the Wild Pack were forced to change their name due to copyright
reasons, as Silver Sable’s task force used the name too. Inspired by a pack of beverage,
they came up with Six Pack instead.

| Beast, Iceman, Archangel, Jean Grey, Cyclops |
X-Factor Assembled
Xavier's original five students,
now all full-grown adults, still do not trust Magneto and are dismayed that the current X-Men have allied themselves with
him. As a result, Xavier's five original students have formed their own organization, X-Factor, in order to find and train
superhuman mutants.
Cyclops left the X-Men to
form X-Factor with the other Original X-Men (Iceman, Angel,
and Beast) and later Jean Grey joined the new team who was found to be alive and at the bottom of the ocean in Jamaica Bay
by the Avengers and the Fantastic Four who had probed
the cocoon.
After hearing that the X-Men
were now led by Magneto and Xavier was gone, Jean contacted her former teammates (Beast, Iceman and Angel of the Defenders)
and, together with Cyclops, they re-formed the original team as X-Factor. Jean also chose not to contact her family, as she
didn’t know how they would react to the shock of having their daughter and sister return from the dead. While the media
believed them to be mutant hunters, X-Factor was only a front. Secretly, the original X-Men tried to find, train and help
new mutants. To do so, they took on two roles: officially they were mutant hunters. But when necessary, they also took on
the roles of the X-Terminators, masked mutants who seemed to be in opposition to X-Factor.
At first, X-Factor publicly
posed as a group of human mutant-hunters that captured allegedly dangerous mutants. They hired Cameron
Hodge as the group Director of Public Relations. In truth, X-Factor would find young mutants in order to prevent government
experimentation on them and then train them in the use of their powers. They rescued other young mutants name as Skids, Rusty
Collins and Tabitha Smith from group of humans. Later they met Empath but after a short
while he left the group joined the Hellions group of Emma Frost.
Meltdown/Boom Boom (Tabitha Smith)
generates plasmoids of explosive energy, which she can detonate on a delayed time cycle or manipulate into streams of energy.
Rusty Collins, a mutant with the superhuman power to generate heat and flames
Skids (Sally Blevins) generate
a force field of deflective energy around her and others that disperses the kinetic energy from impacts and disrupts energy
projections, and cancels out friction so that she can travel by sliding across it.
Empath (Manuel Alfonzo Rodrigo de la Rocha) a Spanish mutant who can sense emotional
states and desires from other sentient beings, manipulate the emotions of others
Unknown to X-Factor, the new
recruits Rusty Collins and Skids were captured by the Mutant Liberation Front led by Stryfe and brainwashed them to become
his allies.
Cable continued to operate
in the present day and appears to have done freelance work for the United States government at some time, but he fell out
of their good graces and became a wanted man. Not much is known about this phase of Cable’s life. He again made his
presence known years later while investigating Stryfe's new terrorist unit the Mutant Liberation
Front. Cable was incapacitated by the MLF and taken into federal custody.
He managed to escape but was
tracked down by Freedom Force and would've been recaptured if not for the intervention of the New Mutants.
Cable decided that the kids
could be his new soldiers against Stryfe, especially Cannonball whom his information pointed
to being the next High Lord /External. With the approval of X-Factor and Moira MacTaggert, Cable assumed command of the New
Mutants and moved them into a set of bunkers underneath the ruins of Xavier’s mansion.
Meanwhile in Japan, Wolverine
demands an explanation from Mariko for aborting their wedding. After she once more insults him, he hands her back the clan’s
honor sword, which she once gave him.
Wolverine tries to convince
Mariko Yashida that she can marry him, but under Mastermind’s influence she made deals with the Yakuza and first wants
to reclaim her honor.

Mutant Menace
Elsewhere, the
Marauders track and secretly follow a Morlocks' girl named Tommy. And in San Francisco, Dazzler is
upset about being in hiding when she is attacked by a psychic entity Malice.
Rogue searches for Phoenix
in Manhattan. She rescues two workmen when a window-cleaning scaffold breaks. Rogue later goes to Bloomindales where she is
accosted for being a mutant. One of the workmen steps in to help her before she flies away from the crowd. Illyana tells Colossus
that she is worried about Kitty before going to see her. Kitty has altered Cerebro so it can be used by anyone. An alarm goes
off to say that one of their missing friends has been spotted. Magneto goes to the Hellfire club. Outside he spots X-Factor
and recognizes them as the original X-Men.
Inside the club Magneto is
offered a place in the inner circle. Nightcrawler is being attacked by a mob when Kitty, Piotr and Illyana arrive and talk
the mob down. Logan and Storm find the end of Phoenix’s trail.
Tommy arrives in the Morlock
tunnels only to be attacked by the Marauders. They tell her that they used her to find the Morlocks home.

|
| Marauders |
The Marauders have reached the Morlock Alley in the abandoned subway tunnels below New York. Without warning they randomly start
to kill anyone at sight. Taken by surprise many Morlocks are injured or killed. One of them makes it to Xavier’s mansion
to alert the X-men, before finally succumbing to his injuries.
Tessa (Sage) secretly worked for the Psi-Division of STRIKE, Britain's version of
the US-based espionage outfit SHIELD One of her assignments was to infiltrate the Hellfire
Club, but Tessa forced her to abandon the mission.
Betsy Bradock was planned to be
assassinated by Vixen using the Slaymaster but this attempt
was a failure with the help of her twin Brother-Captain Britain. She
was later kidnapped by the other-dimensional television producer Mojo and his henchwoman,
the six-armed, android sorceress Spiral, and implanted with bionic eyes. Giving her the name
"Psylocke", Mojo made her the star of the Wildways TV program.
The New Mutants, the teenage
sister team of the X-Men, got involved, rescuing Psylocke from Mojo, and took her back with them to Westchester County, New
York. She decided to stay with the X-Men and learn how to better control her powers.
Psylocke (Betsy Braddock), an
English telepath and femme fatale who possesses many telepathic abilities, enabling her to read minds, communicate mentally
with others over long distances, stun the minds of others with "mental bolts," control the minds of others, and create illusions
in the minds of others. Psylocke can intensely focus her psionic powers into her "psychic knife," with which she can stun
or kill an adversary. The twin sister of Captain Britain.
Sage (Tessa), a cyberpathy augments
her ability to understand and catalogue genetic information from her primary power with a computer-like mind able to record
everything she thinks and perceives, summon any stored data at will for total recall and kinetic memory, run multiple simultaneous
thought processes, interact with computer mainframes at an equal-or-greater rate of computing, and perform highly accurate
analyses of her surroundings, enabling her to anticipate and counter physical attacks on reflex or concoct elaborate conclusions
and strategies with great speed. She possesses telepathic abilities to read and project thoughts, send out her astral form,
cast illusions, and manipulate the minds of others; can consciously close off her mind, which prevents her from accessing
her telepathy but renders her mind immune to psionic probes and detection, and creates a defensive force that reflects any
offensive mental action back at her attacker. Can jumpstart power allows her to sense the presence of mutants, scan a person
for all possible mutations and abilities in their genetic code, and trigger power manifestations which unleash latent mutant
powers or can enhance and beneficially modify existing mutations in other people
Psylocke, currently staying
at the mansion, picks up images of the events in the tunnels right before the Morlocks dies.
Storm orders
Illyana to teleport the X-Men to the Alley, while she asks Magneto to stay behind and protect the school and the New Mutants.
Upon arrival, the team finds many dead and injured people, and not before long the Marauders too attack them. Nightcrawler
overpowers himself and can’t teleport away as Riptide spins across him, cut his body in many spots. Colossus and Rogue
protect the others by taking many direct hits of Riptide’s weapons and even one of Harpoons spears hits Colossus’
steel skin.

Later, when
Rogue is rendered vulnerable by Scrambler’s touch, Kitty tries to phase her to safety, but is hit by another energy
lance. The effects are soon evident. Kitty can no longer un-phase and is stuck in intangible state. Storm finally decides
to retreat taking many injured and surviving Morlocks with them, but she sends Wolverine further ahead alone to bring them
one single Marauder for questioning. Among the dead Morlocks are Berzerker, Piper and Annalee.
Moira MacTaggert, Callisto
and the X-Men helplessly watch as more and more of the rescued Morlocks die from their injuries. Nightcrawler is still in
a coma, and Kitty has been placed into a containment chamber to keep her phased atoms from dispersing. It’s too much
for Storm, who blames herself of bad leadership and finally she runs away into the woods, Callisto chasing after her.
In the tunnels
below, Wolverine finds many dead bodies, until Sabretooth, who was about to kill the Morlock Healer, finally attacks him.
Sabretooth (Victor Creed) an
American who can also tampered his memories by Weapon X like Wolverine. Had heightened senses, agility, and reflexes regenerative
capability, superhuman strength, and hardened talons. He can regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his cellular structure
at a rate far greater than that of an ordinary human being.
At the mansion, Colossus collapses,
and it is discovered that his metal form looses energy as an after-effect of the battle with the Marauders. Magneto is able
to stop the energy leaks, but the operation leaves Piotr paralyzed.
Angel also was injured to
the point to where his wing's had to be amputated.
In the woods Storm decides
to abandon the X-Men, but Callisto talks some sense into her; the former enemies have now come to respect each other. Wolverine
is able to drop a wall on Sabretooth and takes the Healer to the mansion. Right after he is clear, the tunnels are filled
with a red-hot firestorm that burns all deceased bodies away. The X-Men wonder if the New Mutants were still in there, as
Logan had earlier caught their scents.
And the surviving notable
Morlocks were Callisto, Caliban, Erg, Beautiful Dreamer, Ape, Healer,
Sunder, Plague, Tar Baby, Artie, Leech, Tommy, Scaleface, Blow-Hard, and Marrow.
Magneto, Callisto, Storm and
Wolverine check the empty Morlock tunnels for any traces of the New Mutants or the Marauders, yet they find nothing. The firestorm
destroyed any clues. Psylocke, in telepathic contact with them, tells that at the mansion everything is secure and she offers
to do a telepathic scan for the Marauders, yet both Storm and Magneto veto that. She is not a member of the team, and as the
action might contain unknown dangers, they do not want her to take such a risk. Suddenly Psylocke registers another presence
at the Xavier estate. It’s Sabretooth, who quickly takes out Rogue and then turns on Psylocke. She draws him away from
the infirmary to not endanger the many patients there and manages to evade his attacks till the X-Men arrive from the tunnels.
Wolverine steps in and the two archenemies fight, Magneto creates some metal shackles for
Creed, but Betsy asks him to wait. She thinks that she can only mind probe Sabretooth when he is distracted. As the battle
goes on she slips into his memories and acquires the needed information about the Marauders and their employer. Then Wolverine
fills in Sabretooth that he has been conned, before he has to fight the whole team, Creed jumps into a lake and escapes. The
team apologizes to Betsy and asks her to become a full member.
Wolverine had no idea that
Jean was alive and had returned to life and had contacted the X-Factor with the help of the Fantastic Four.

Undisputable Mistake
At this time the New Mutants had been having a hard time of things as well, their teammate Cypher
died in combat, Magneto who was still the headmaster blamed the rest of the team. Karma and Magma left and joined the X-Factor
temporarily. Feral and Proudstar joined the team of the first
Hellions team led by White Queen. Later, Rictor and Meltdown meet Cable as the new mentor of the New Mutants.
Most of the Mutants took to
him very quickly, but Rictor had trouble with the team’s new mentor. An unmasked Stryfe had killed Ric’s father
years before. As the clone had the same face, Rictor believed Cable to be his father’s killer. Though he never told
Cable why, Julio kept a major chip on his shoulder when dealing with his him.
Magneto made a new base in
Antarctica. Also by that time then the recovered Charles Xavier is probing the new actions of Magneto. He asked his X-Men
to check the new plans of Magneto and to track down Scott Summers after leaving the X-Men. Upon arriving in Antarctica, Back
in the Savage Land they faced the rage of Garokk. But with the phasing ability of Shadowcat
he was in pain.
Unfortunately Magneto is in
a mysterious island of Bermuda Triangle. Then he gives the world’s governments an ultimatum. They are to relinquish
all governing power to him or he will destroy the world. When a Russian submarine attacks his island, he destroys it and the
uses his new machine to create a volcano under a Russian town. The Blackbird crushed down due to the natural force field of
the island. They have destroyed the machine and Kitty finds data bank and controlled it and the powers are on after the shield
was destroyed. Scared by his past in the Nazi death-camp, Auschwitz, he had vowed to create a safe future for mutants and
now he has killed a child of his own species, after that battle Magneto then leaves.
After few months, the New
Mutants have faced Belasco an Evil Sorcerer who lures Magik.
They went to in a labyrinth; the Colossus was said killed by Belasco’s servant Sym.
But Storm stopped his Menace. She restores Kitty and then urges the X-Men to leave with the amulet Storm took. While she hold
off the demon horde the returned Belasco brought with him, the X-Men travel home, but in the last instant, Belasco grabs Illyana.
Kitty holds onto her, but loses her grip when they return to the island temple. She once more grabs Illyana through the closing
circle and together the X-Men pull her through. However, time passed differently in Limbo and the Illyana they brought back
is now thirteen instead of six years old. Later Colossus blames himself for what happened to his sister as he keeps guard
at her side.
After this, Magneto set his
sights significantly lower than world conquest; he sought only a haven for mutantkind. He first attempted to make the orbital
base known as Asteroid M such a haven but was opposed by the governments of the world and the X-Men. The X-men did not know
if Magneto was returning to his villainous ways or not, and so they confronted Magneto. At the time the X-men were divided
into the Blue team and the Gold team. Xavier made the mistake of sending the Blue Team, led by Cyclops, who had never trusted
Magneto, not even when Magneto had reformed (Cyclops actually quit the team in protest over Xavier's forgiveness of Magneto).
Without giving Magneto a chance
to explain himself, Cyclops ordered the others to attack. During the battle Wolverine (who had been friends with Magneto when
Magneto had been on the team) attempted to kill him, much to Magneto's shock. With the exception of Rogue, none of the X-Men
were any different.
Feeling betrayed by his former
allies, Magneto fled. He later discovered how Moira had tampered with his mind when he had been de-aged as a child. Magneto
felt enraged, feeling that his redemption had been a lie. Though it was later revealed that the genetic tampering had lost
its effect when he had first used his powers after being re-aged, and thus his actions had never been influenced by Moira's
tampering, the damage had been done. He became the X-Men's enemy once more.
